While some Christians are cautious of Reiki due to its roots in Eastern philosophy, others embrace it as a form of spiritually guided healing that complements their faith:
Divine Source: Reiki practitioners often refer to healing energy as coming from a “universal life force,” which some Christian Reiki practitioners interpret as God’s love or the Holy Spirit.
Laying on of Hands: Reiki shares similarities with Christian traditions of healing through touch, such as those practiced by Jesus and his disciples.
Prayerful Intention: Some Christian Reiki practitioners pray during sessions or invoke Christ’s presence, seeing Reiki as a tool God can work through, not a replacement for faith.
Critics sometimes view Reiki as unbiblical or too mystical, but many reconcile the practice with their Christian path by seeing Reiki as a vessel for divine compassion, not a religious system itself.

Each Reiki experience is individual and subject to the practitioner and the recipient. As Reiki work is done on the soul level, it’s important to have an open mind. Remember, the practitioner isn’t healing anyone, rather they are assisting the recipient to heal themselves.
Many find they wish to have weekly, if not daily sessions, while others feel balanced after one session and return only as needed.
